Pray for your enemies..... to Die?



Earlier this month, Rev. Wiley S. Drake, a California minister and former candidate for the presidency of the Southern Baptist Convention, asked his followers to pray for the deaths of two leaders of Americans United for Separation of Church and State (AUSCS).

1.Since the Bible does include imprecatory prayers, is there any reason we shouldn't consider them as models for Christian praying? If so, what reasons?

1.Just because someone is our enemy, does that make that person an enemy of God? Is it even possible to identify someone as "an enemy of God"? Explain your answer.

3.If we are going to pray about our enemies, what should we ask God to do for -- or to -- them?
